Top Signs You’re Getting Old

It’s happening! We’re actually getting old.

I know 35 isn’t old per sé and some days I still feel really young but it’s just small things that have happened that have made me think about how old I maybe am getting.

These things have happened lately which are definitely signs that it’s time to don the blue rinse and buy a bag of wether’s originals.

1 – 10 year olds are now graduates…

Ok, they are not 10 but when I spotted some of the new grads recently they looked like they shouldn’t even be driving never mind graduating. The same goes for police officers and doctors of late.

Each time I see someone who is around the 21 mark I just can’t actually believe they are adults.

2 – Teenagers become sympathetic

A question was asked of me by a teenager when they were explaining what sort of music… imagine the tone if you will ‘Oh, do you know who Drake is?’ I’m 35, not dead…! I have the internet and know how to use google and snapstagram or whatever you kids use these days.

3 – Hangovers from less than 2 drinks are REAL

I had a cocktail and a glass of prosecco, I wasn’t even slightly inebriated but the day after I had the WORST hangover of my life…! I really am gutted…I didn’t even get the joy of feeling a little drunk beforehand.

I don’t generally drink and my last taste of alcohol was in May (5 months ago) so I do understand that it could have something to do with that but come on… seriously!! WHY DID I FEEL SO BAD???!!!???

(I have heard since that a fellow over 30’s that drank the same as me felt exactly the same the next day after drinking the same)

What has happened to you that makes you feel old? Or has it not happened yet?
